Historic Satellites Return Home 1 of 45 Photos   The Black Satellites of Ghana made history on October 16, 2009 when they won Africas first gold at the World Youth Toournament in Egypt. On the following day, Saturday, October 17, they returned home to a tumultuous welcome at the Kotoka International Airport where thousands had gathered to cheer them. They were received by Vice President John Dramani Mahama who displays the championships trophy here.
