Hundreds of people including President John Dramani Mahama on November 17, 2012 gathered at the residence of the late Vice President of Ghana Aliu Mahama to console the wife Hajia Ramatu Mahama.
Former President John Agyekum Kufour and some leading members of the New Patriotic Party were also there to sympathize with the wife.
Representatives of the various political parties were also at the residence to sign the book of condolence which was opened at the late Vice President’s residence. By David Andoh.
